About the Owner
After an award-winning career with insurance giant Liberty Mutual, Bly Insurance Group Owner Joseph Bly realized the captive business model was limited.
Joe came up with the three pain points most people face with their insurance: Cost, Options, and Service. Joe went out to find a business model that would address these factors.
Ultimately Joe joined a local independent brokerage where he had more carrier options, which led to more control over cost and a local relationship with his clients, ultimately improving their service experience. After recruiting some of the best talent in the industry and helping the agency achieve record growth, Joe decided it was time to go on his own, and Bly Insurance Group was born.
Joe took his understanding of both the captive and independent agency models and dedicated the best of both pieces to growing one of the most elite brokerages in the country.
